Our neighbor asked me to let you know that we have a home available for two 
months:  an opportunity for a taste of cohousing.  An opportunity for time in 
the beautiful Hudson Valley:

A taste of CoHousing is available for you.  
If you have wondered if you would like living in cohousing,  here is a way to 
find out.

If you live in cohousing, come for a vacation in the beautiful Hudson Valley,  
just North [100 Miles] of NYC. 

We live in Cantine's Island Cohousing Community,  Saugerties, NY  in the Hudson 
Valley.
We are nestled in nature, yet close to NYC.  

Lovely, clean, quiet, fully artfully furnished, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house,  
with wood burning stove, welcoming and cozy.   Available from March 15-May 15 
when owner plans to return.
Welcoming large open plan kitchen flowing into the living room, 2 full 
bathrooms.  Wonderful light downstairs and up from windows facing east, south, 
and north.  
Views of the Esopus creek to the east. 

Large private back deck. 

Shared courtyard garden and community land - some of which is along the creek 
on the community's lower property (yes you can kayak here!)

Our community has a beautifully planted central ellipse with common house, 
homes and herb garden.

 In our Common House we have  community meals,  and gatherings.    We have 
weekly happy hour, team meals and potlucks, singalongs,  parties,  dances……….   
You get the idea.   You would be most welcome to join in activities, or not.  
You can be private or participate as suits you.

We are a 12 minute walk to the main street of our historic charming village of 
Saugerties, a short stroll down to Tina Chorvas waterside park, 15 minute walk 
to the marina, and there is public transportation a four minute walk away. 

Rent is $1600, plus utilities.
