Heartwood Phase 2 Zoom Gathering this Sunday at 9:00am (MT time) Heartwood Cohousing is a multigenerational cohousing community. Dozens of kids have grown up here through the years in the midst of loving neighbors and boundless nature. And now we have a new generation of beautiful young families continuing the tradition. At Sunday's Zoom gathering, we will focus on families at Heartwood, especially families interested in Phase 2. It will be a chance to meet and connect with other families interested in Phase 2 and also those already living here. But the gathering is not just for families. It's for anyone who values living in a multigenerational neighborhood. One of the cool things about Heartwood is that because we're such good friends with each other, we have the opportunity to have close relationships with neighbors' kids. We're like a big extended family with many grandmas and grandpas, uncles and aunts, and cousins – a rich fabric of multigenerational relationships. That means there's less pressure on parents compared to a more isolated nuclear family. Details of the Gathering: Sunday, April 21 at 9:00am (MDT): Phase 2 Zoom Gathering especially for families to form connections with other families and explore possible home sharing. (Everyone is welcome, even us older folks. We are a very inclusive, multi-generational community, after all.) Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/97340154655?pwd=SVpIWTl0dWxOTmhxT3NsZDFtaFRxZz09 With safe pedestrian pathways, virtually no crime, hundreds of acres of forest and pastures, a fabulous sunny climate, and trusted, loving neighbors, Heartwood is an idyllic setting for raising free-spirited, free-range kids. My three kids, now in their 20's, grew up within a tribe of playmates here at Heartwood, roaming the neighborhood and the woods, developing independence, self-knowing, and self-confidence, to become the amazing young adults they are today. They continue to hold Heartwood as their loving extended family and their Heartwood playmates as lifelong cherished friends. I am forever grateful for the gift my kids received of growing up in a loving community, close to nature. -- Mac Thomson Heartwood Cohousing Phase 2 Project Manager http://www.heartwoodcohousing.com **********************************************************
