Cohousing-L Mailing List: Are we the largest cohousing community in the world?

Someone recently asked me whether Heartwood Cohousing with our 360 acres is the 
largest cohousing community in the world. Frankly, I don’t know. Maybe you can 
help.

What are the largest cohousing communities that any of you have heard of? Are 
than any bigger than 360 acres?

I saw in the CohoUS directory that Ecovillage at Ithaca is 170 acres and Cobb 
Hill Cohousing in Vermont is 260 acres, but I’m not aware of any other large 
rural communities — except ours.
