rachelcarsonecovillage.org, a multigenerational, welcoming community, is under 
construction 10 miles north of Pittsburgh. We have a couple of our second 
largest Duskywing units still available:

Duskywing Unit - $537 K *+ 

First Floor:  
    11’ x 15’ living room 
    11’ x 14’ kitchen with U-shaped counter/cabinets 
    2 bedrooms (10’ x 13’ and 11’ x 12’) with closets
    Full bath 
    Linen closet and washer/dryer closet
    Utility room

Second Floor can be left open or customized with 2 additional bedrooms and a 
bath as well as additional space for a home office or fitness room and storage.

* Prices include share of common house and facilities
+ Capital commitment is also required but can be deferred.

What’s special about our RCE houses?
Our units are combustion- free (no gas/oil HVAC or appliances!) and built with 
sustainable materials to Passive House standards resulting in saving 75 to 90% 
on heating/cooling, a smaller carbon footprint, and cleaner, healthier air.

Day-lit with large (4×5) triple paned dual tilt opening windows. each unit will 
have a generous 8’ x 14’ front porch or larger deck and a 6 ’x 8’ back porch 
with private open space. Most units are accessible without steps.
