At Cascade Cohousing we have a legal structure which sais if consensus
cannot be reached, the issue is discussed at another meeting. As a
last resort a 2/3 vote is required. In general this has not been required,
but we have had a number of issues that have caused short term tension.

People in the group, by nature, prefere consensus and compromises.
