>Just a note to say that when you are handling poultry you have to be extra >careful because about 30% of commercially sold birds are contaminated with >salmonella by the time they get to the store. An interesting note from a study which was published in my local Health coop newsletter was that salmonella and other bacteria live on plastic cutting boards 5 times longer than on wood ones.
