Can't help Nancy on her detached vs attached garage problems. Highline Crossing is going to be all detached. Colorado's weather is better - that's one reason why I'm here instead of my hometown in Connecticut. Even tho we're not built yet, we've also recognized some parking problems of our own. We're planning a variety of open spaces, 20' garages, and 22' garages. Unfortunately, based on the contracts signed so far, we are selling more 22' garages than we have room to build. It seemed unfair that those who signed contracts first (on the basis only of which buildings were being built first) should have priority, so we are going to change our procedure. We're going to change it to sell 20' garages only, and then after all the contracts are signed and we know how many people want 22' garages, we'll have some sort of a lottery or other preference system which is more equitable. We only came up with this last night so we're not sure how it's going to work, but it's got to be fairer than the way we were doing it. ~___~ (0 0) +-----------------------ooO-(_)-Ooo---------------------------------+ | Debbie Behrens debbeh [at] auto-trol.com (303)252-2215 | | Highline Crossing CoHousing (303)457-4184 | +-------------------------------------------------------------------+
