Say, don't you folks grow a lot of corn?  Since I'm new to this list, I
apologize if I'm treading on worn ground here, but you might want to check
out the stove adaptation to burn corn cobs that I saw demonstrated this past
summer (Northeast Organic Farming Association summer conference).  Reputed
to have an extremely clean burn.
