Around an hour and a half drive, if you don't hit the worst of the commute traffic. You are welcome to come by, and I can check around the beginning of March to see if there is a common dinner any of those evenings. Davis is in the central valley, so that the summers are hot and the winters a bit cooler than the immediate bay area. While there is quite a bit to do, depending on your interests, it certainly can't compete with the bay area for the urban cultural experience. Let me know if you are interested, and we can work out the details.
