A Conference for Those Who Aim to Understand the Problem

Substance abuse and the crime that so often accompanies it are problems every
U.S. citizen faces: many of us walk in fear in our own neighborhoods, we worry
about community security for ourselves and our loved ones, we continue to be
barraged with media immages of the victims of senseless, drug-related crimes.
The National Association of Socially Responsible Organizations (NASRO) believes

The Government Alone is Not Responsible for Fighting the War on Drugs and
Crime.

Substance abuse and crime may not be your or your employer's top priority, yet
none of us can ignore the pressing need to examine why substance abuse and
crime continue to rise in this country. As these issues receive legislative
attention in the months ahead, NASRO encourges employers and other concerned
citizens to join us in educating ourselves, sharing possible solutions, and
taking a stand.
