With all this discussion of architecture, I'm curious: are there any
architects out there who follow at least some of the precepts of _A Pattern
Language_? From the looks of architecture journals, recent subdivisions,
new office developments, and the like, I'd say there aren't many.

[Of course, this question could be re-stated as "are there any clients out
there asking architects to follow the precepts of _A Pattern Language_?"
However, this would ignore the client education role which any professional
must assume as part of the job. Why aren't architects telling their clients
about livable design? Or are they, but clients ignore them?]
