Compuserve did not send bounce messages back in David's case but many 
site's send a "bounce" message back (that ends up in my mail box) saying 
the mail could not be delivered.  I've been getting more "disk quota 
exceeded" bounces lately.  PLEASE KEEP UP ON MANANGING YOUR MAILBOX
TO AVOID THIS.    Like all kinds of bounce messages I 
do not send a note to ask what's up or request the subscriber try to get 
the problem fixed -- IT would be likely to BOUNCE also....

In the case of disk quota full and other kinds of bounces due to a 
potentially temporary problem I often put the 
subscriber in digest mode (to minimize the number of bounce messages
I get) and watch it for a week or so.  If a any problem persists,
eventually I unsubscribe the offending address.  If this happens to you 
and you want to continue as a subscriber, get the problem fixed and 
re-subscribe.  Feel free to send me a note of inquiry or explaination.

If your email account is going to be closed etc.  Please remember to
unsubscribe from cohousing-L. (Even a note sent from elsewhere after 
the fact is helpful.)  Otherwise eventually mail will start 
bouncing and I'll have to unsubscribe the address after getting
a bunch of bounce messages.
