My mother remembers from her youth treating poison oak with a milk poultice. Recently she got it again after a trip to our site, and soaked a washrag in milk and applied it to the outbreak. She says two or three applications over the course of a day resulting in elimination of all itching and burning. Haven't tried it myself yet.
