Good idea, Harry Pasternak, here's my shingle: My friend, Buzz Burrell, once said he was (at that time) a "co-housing flirt," e.g., he and his S.O. went to meetings of several different groups in the metro area, but hadn't settled on one. Recently he has settled (Geneva) but I haven't. These days I'm flirting more strongly with the simple, rural, part agrarian, part hi-tek, open-endedly spiritual intentional-community lifestyle. I plan to visit more communities this summer and attend the FIC's summer board meeting. Who knows, my family's little 7-acre farm near Grand Junction may turn coho. My brother's S.O. and son are joining the 4 existing extended-family farm-mates. - I'm no architect, but I know what I like: roundedness, sculptedness, freeformish, flowing, indigeneous looking, natural materials, solar. With a built in ethernet and T1 hookup to the info highway. Actually, 14.4 is just fine - for now. - I don't want to just share a meal now and then, I want to co-create a new culture including economy, arts, dances, coming-of-age ceremonies, etc. with my fellow community members. - I am a researcher -- betcha y'all didn't realize that you are becoming characters in my novel about an intentional community in the year 2050. I've incorporated a "flamer" or two into my fictional community <grin>. Mike Mariner Boulder, CO
