I suppose, under the circumstances, I am supposed to flame you (or worse),
since you suggesting that I am lying or exaggerating---however, I won't---the
information speaks for itself. But now, you are going to have to contact
Suzanne at the Strawbale Builders Assoc. and then report back here to this
conference and post her responses.

Although I am sure most other people in this conference do understand---here
we go again---in order to compare the Embodied Costs of one building method
with another method--- anyone would need to know the Embodied Costs of BOTH
building methods---in this case, Strawbale Wall construction with any number
of different ways to build walls (48 inches on center Rigid Truss Framing or
the Amos System to name a few). To simply stated that someones preferred
building method is inherently better from an environmental point of view,
without knowing those Embodied Costs is troubling, to say the least. Contact
Antioch, if you really want to know the Embodied Costs of materials---they
have been doing it for 30 years.

If I understand your last point, you would preferr that people involved in
planning, designing, and constructing entire neighborhoods use as little
scienticifically proven information as possible; but, as much personal
viewpoint of so-called experts as possible, in order to make the project as
difficult as possible with the maximum numbers of problems to deal with as
possible, after the builduing is finished---did I read you right?
