No, I certainly do not see anything unhealthy about interconnecting 
cohousing and other intentional communities--in my opinion, they are one 
and the same. Why should cohousing be separate from Intentional 
Communities? They are one and the same--cohousing *is* an intentional 
community. You have to have a serious *intent* to live in this type of 
community in order to endure the five years of meetings,studying, 
interviews, discussions,self-education and what-not that goes into making 
a community.
I would welcome input from the Intentional Communities people in this 
forum, and I look forward to hearing what they have to say. Maybe there 
are many people on the Cohousing-l who are also Intentional Communities 
people. It would be interesting to hear what the differences in focus are 
between the two groups.
