     RoseWind Cohousing Community will be having an Open House and Party
                        on Saturday, August 12 from noon to 5:00.

Refreshments, Tours, Good Company, Drum Circle ...

In the upper right corner of the country, in the evergreen state of 
Washington, on the beautiful Olympic peninsula is the small town of 
Port Townsend.  Once expected to become a major port in the northwest 
but long ago resigned to the status of a small,  picturesque town of 
less than eight thousand.  About 2 hours northwest (including a 
pleasant 1/2 hour ferry ride) of Seattle and accross the Strait of 
Juan De Fuca from Vancouver Island, Canada.  This is the site of RoseWind, a 
cohousing 
community of 9+ acres in the city limits of Port Townsend.

The site has been devided into 20 single family lots of around five 
thousand sq ft and a multifamily lot designed for seven units. A 
commonhouse lot and a commercial lot have also been designated.  This 
layout leaves about half the land in commons. We anticipate having 
common gardens, orchards, play areas and some natural areas.  Two 
houses are completed and being lived in, four houses will be 
completed within the next mounth or two and at least three additional 
houses will be started this year.

Four single family lots are available and the seven multifamily units 
are also available.

If you are in the area in mid august, are interested in a lot, 
RoseWind, cohousing or are just thirsty and sociable stop on by.  All 
are welcome.
