Hi folks,

All the definitions I have seen so far have included the phrase 
"built".  N Street was not "built". It evolved.   I think our definition 
should allow for retrofit co-housing and similarly  different than 
"developed" co-housing.  Here is my shot at a definition:

Cohousing is a community of people who live next to each other, share a 
common house, meals and other assets and activities, and are committed to 
being good friends and neighbors.
