David Thanks for the good news. The research shows that gardening is one of many "normal" ways people use to "present themselves" in neighborhoods, in order to socially network. As soon as people start to "present themselves" ---It breaks the barrier/cycle of "nothing happens because nothing happens". People can "present themselves" in many ways from gardening to clearing snow--- the design issue is: can the "presenter" be easily seen by lots of other people, at any time, during daylight hours?
