I had a wonderful time (again) and learnt a lot.  I really appreciate all
the work RMCA has put into this conference the last two years.  I think
they have made the North American conferences wonderful enough that they will
continue to happen and grow in the future even though RMCA will not 
necessarily be doing them.  

Has that been mentioned here?  "We" decided that next year there will be
regional conferences in various parts of the two countries, and then there
will be another North American conference in two years time, in Seattle.
("We" was a loose grouping of people who cared about the issue and weren't
in some other meeting at the time).

Anyway, I think we all owe a huge debt to the wonderful people at RMCA for
incubating this institution.
