I certainly hope that every cohousing community has room for everyone without regard to physical or mental limits. Just as we want every person to do his or her share, and not cheat themselves or their neighbors of their contributions because they are lazy or lack commitment, I hope we don't expect anyone to contribute beyond their ability. IMHO, this should be true without regard to whether a person's ablility is limited limited permanently or temporarily, because of age (too young or too old) or infirmity (accident or illness, acute or chronic).
