ere at Jewell Hill Cohousing in Sebastopol are zeroing in on establishing
some community life-type policies.  We would love to see samples of what
others have done.

specifically right now, we're interested in pet policies and off-site member
policies and general kitchen and community-time policies.  Also participation
requirements and how that is spelled out.

We're still at least a year and a half away from being built, so are starting
out with things that apply now or soon.  We think the pet issue is important
as we add new households and evaluate their pet population.

Re:  off-site members, we have a couple people (and might recruit more) who
live near-by and would like to participate in meals, hot tub, gardening and
other community activities.  We're debating whether they should make some
capital contribution to help make the common house larger, or monthly dues.
 Pay now or later after we're built, etc. etc.  What sort of participation,
voting privileges, and so on.

We will only be building 14 units, so feel the need for a larger community in
the neighborhood.
