Chris Hanson, long-time cohousing catalyst and consultant from the Pacific Northwest, will be the featured speaker at a symposium in Berkeley California on Sunday, April 28th, starting at 10:30 a.m. and running till about 1 p.m. Chris will describe some recent projects in which he's been involved (e.g. Cardiff Place in Victoria and Windsong in Langley, B.C.) and he'll also speculate on the future intertwining of the cohousing and ecovillage movements. His talk will be followed by a panel of speakers representing current cohousing opportunities in Northern California. Berkeley Conference Center, 2105 Bancroft at Shattuck (near downtown Berkeley BART station). $10 donation requested.
