We screen no one here in Fl.  They have to attend 5 meetings. 2k$ is required
to join which reperesents 4k$ towards thier home.
The self selection process works well for us.
Selling houses works for us.
Screening is heavy handed.
Members come and go.
We request all potential members to sign a membership agreement, that uses
our by-laws and mission statement.
If we were to screen, we'd have no members.
There's obviously  a lot more to it. Like a serious education process.
