<<How many cohousing groups are either growing significant food or plan to?>> We are absolutely planning a generous vegetable garden (organic of course) as well as fruit trees, berries, and edible landscaping. I see no reason why we won't be able to grow most of our produce for 14 families on our little two acres once we get in and organized. Of course here in Sonoma County ("the chosen spot in all the world as far as nature is concerned" according to Luther Burbank) we have the benefit of a year-round growing season and a climate that supports a huge variety of plants and produce. Yep, we're lucky! We also have CSA's and can use them to supplement. Marty Roberts Jewell Hill Coho, Sebastopol, CA
