Design ideas for the wheelchair bound members in the commonhouse: Have one end of a counter lower than normal, like desk height, so a child or a person who can not stand can still help with dinner prep work. Pay attention to door swings, they are a particular problem in small bathrooms, where there is not room to close the door when the chair is in the space. Enough room between tables to allow for access to the drinks, etc. There is a lot of good information on the web about this if you search under the keyword wheelchair. I found (and lost) a good website on this topic which had a detailed list of problems with resorts. Rob Sandelin Sharingwood
