At Wasatch Cohousing we are putting our condominium documents together. Each home as a certain area called "limited common space" to use as a backyard or frontyard, for a grill or a deck, or a dogwalk. This area can be fenced in. We will have a meeting in which we will assign these areas to the homes. Some people want it in the front, some in the back of their home, it depends very much on the particularities of every home. How have other cohousing projects dealt with this issue? Do you have them, and how large are they? Should all limited common areas be strictly the same size, and if not, will that be reflected in the purchase price, etc. Your thoughts and experiences are very much appreciated.
