Hi Diane,
We read your reference to Valley Oaks Village's Commons House interesting
design.  Where is Valley Oaks? 

We are members of Solterra in Durham, NC.  We have an 1850's farmhouse that
we will be remodeling and adding onto to accomodate a dining hall for 100 (40
families on 20 acres).  My husband and I, who currently live in southern CA,
are interested in taking a cross-country trip to gather ideas.  Any other
suggestions on places not to be missed?  We have a 4-year old daughter so we
are also interested in those with exciting playground structures.

This is my first posting to this list.  I hope I did it right. . .  Any
responses from anyone else who would care to offer suggestions of locations
to visit for gathering ideas would be welcome.
