Hope you who don't have web access will respond to Fred's post on this subject. Among my cohousing buddies here in the Bay Area, are more than handful of people who have an email address at work where they can receive messages (or coho-l), and occasionally send one. But their workplace doesn't permit employees to web browse (or doesn't even have web access). Alternatively, some ISPs charge so much for online time, that folks just want to download their mail, read and respond off-line. Besides, I've told people who want to check into coho-l that all they need is an email address. Joani Doyle St. CoHousing (where two large units will soon be available for sale). And Old Oakland CoHousing, (where we are about to experience a membership rush with five new households joining or announcing their intentions to join this week--is this something like getting engaged? Still eagerly seeking people of color, and households with kids.
