We are a new group organizing around a very unusual opportunity for cohousing, in Roslindale, a neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. You (and anyone who might be interested) are invited to a potluck dinner and open meeting on Friday, May 2 at 7PM, in the Community Room at the Bowditch Lodging House, 82 Green Street, Jamaica Plain, just steps from Green Street Station on the Orange Line. There is parking, and the room is wheelchair accessible. The Roslindale site is an existing development now up for sale, of 4-5 adjacent Victorian multi-family houses that could accommodate 18 cohousing units. The site is within 5 minutes walk of commuter rail, the Arnold Arboretum, and is in an established family neighborhood. We are bringing together a core group for a project that could have move-in day within 6-12 months. Come eat with us if you're interested in being part of cohousing in Boston THIS YEAR! For more information, call: Franziska Amacher, (617) 354-8707 or Stella Tarnay, (617) 491-4392.
