Jessie asks, " Given that any adult in cohousing may have to set boundaries for the kids at any time, how has your group dealt with sharing parenting skills/rules throughout the group, especially among nonparents?...." I believe that Two Acre Wood (also not built yet) had a workshop (discussion?, talk?) on this very subject--to help parents, non-parents and those not currently parents of young or school-age children come to some understandings and agreements about the treatment of, respect for, legitimate limits for and expectations of children in their community. Did I get it more or less right, Sebastopolians? (Two Acre Wood is in Sesbastopol, California.) Can you tell us a little bit about your experience? Any others?
