skerr [at] becgy.com Sarah Kerr, Wholelife Housing, Calgary, Alberta is the author of the message below but due to a problem it was posted by the Fred the list manager: owner-cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org -------------------- FORWARDED MESSAGE FOLLOWS -------------------- Hello All; We are just starting the process of trying to find ourselves a developer (who hopefully has enough cash to help us bankroll our project.) Does anyone know of any developer-specific information (eg not just general cohousing info) that we might be able to provide to prospective developers to help them better understand what they are getting into? I was wondering if anything had come out of the recent Developers Gathering (was it in Colorado?) or if members of that group would be willing to chat to potential developers to assure them that getting involved in a project like this can actually work. Even if somebody could point me in the direction of information that shows that there is a group of developers in this business it would probably make the whole thing look more realistic. Thanks in advance Sarah Kerr Wholelife Housing, Calgary, Alberta (Where the first really cold day of winter has just arrived, and we have a committed core group who is trying to find affordable inner-city land in the midst of the biggest real estate boom in years.)
