There's a traffic study that was done by the City of Lafayette that
found that Nyland had 25% less trips per day compared to a typical 42
home neighborhood. The study was included in a final report that
Wonderland presented to the EPA.
Is anyone familiar with any other such studies that have shown cohousing
to reduce traffic when compared to typical subdivisions? This is an
important point that we need to make with our county commissioners.
