Terra Firma, the co-housing group I live in, is in the midst of =
determining how to apportion costs (rental of the space, start-up =
equipment costs) for our shared dining hall . I have researched through =
the co-housing archives and pulled some good information but thought I =
might still ask for your thoughts on our specific situation.

What I'm looking for is information on how other communities have =
determined costs and what philosophies lay behind their calculations. =
Factors we're debating:

- should costs be per household or per adult or per person?
- if per person, should children be charged less?
- should families with children receive any special support?

Square footage calculations are not relevant to us since all units are =
more or less the same size.

Any information you could provide would be much appreciated.
