(Hello, I am sending this for my Cambridge Co-Housing Community-mate as Gwen
does not belong to this list, and I do not remember just how to join in. However
several of us from CCH are members of this list and we are certain what we learn
from you will be valuable...to All of us! 

In an aside, in today's Boston Globe is a wonderful almost 3-page spread on
"Instant Community" about CCH. It is satisfying because it is more thoughtful
than others we've seen, and I think it would be helpful to other groups who are
starting up to circulate to educate local communities AND potential members!

Hello from Cambridge Cohousing.

We are about to set our feet upon the thorny path of creating community
design standards and forming a design review committee to apply these
standards to members' requests to make changes to their units.

We would like to benefit from the experience of those who have already
walked some distance down this path, and would like to hear what your
experience has been, and any advice or comments you may offer.
