Indeed!  Many groups have taken many years to realize the dream, but it's 
worth it.  Today also marks the 5th anniversary of the day my family 
moved into Souside Park Cohousing.  I still think of Halloween as our 
anniversary- most of us had moved in, and there was extra sweetness to 
the candy that year.
One of our founding members has just finished the community handbook, and 
it tells of the first slide show within weeks(days?) of the one you 
mention.  Think of the divergent paths the many groups have taken who all 
started from the seeds planted ten years ago.  

As for the families who were there at the beginning, one family that 
would have been at the first slideshow couldn't make it because their son 
was being born(so the handbook says-I wasn't part of the group yet)  He's 
now in 4th or 5th grade, I can't remember, it goes so fast!
