ACK! Messages of the "please get me off the list" variety (and virus messages * ) have out numbered messages about cohousing lately. I hope we can get back to talking about cohousing soon. Please DO NOT POST post such messages to cohousing-L. The 500 subscribers dont need or want to know about such matters. There are several ways to learn how to get off cohousing-L. Around the first of the month there is a message with the title: U-N-S-U-B from Cohousing-L, How to ** It tells you what you need to know to unsubscribe. If you need help, please ask me - the list manager address ("owner") is in the message above and in the header of every message distributed by cohousing-L. Also you can find info about the mailing list at the www.cohousing.org I realize that we have folks on this list with relatively little experience with email and mailing lists and that people can be overwhelmed by the volume the list generates but... every inappropriate messages distributed to all 500 subscribers makes things worse. Please try to keep messages about your subscription off the list. Thanks. * I generally consider messages related to viruses to be inappropriate for posting to cohousing-L; the recent one was a bit of an exception since it was at first thought to be distributed over cohousing-L. ** Ironically I was a bit late with the 'unsub, how to' message this month. I posted it early this morning a few hours BEFORE the last 4 "please get me off the list" messages. Fred cohousing-L list manager owner-cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org -- Fred H.
