I was happy to learn recently that ~35 cohousing communities have listed
themselves in the forthcoming Millennium Edition of the Communities
Directory.

It would be great see even more of us represented therein and there are
only a few weeks left to get your information in. This is a great Free
PR Opportunity for both forming and extant groups. To list your group contact:

                 http://directory.ic.org/ dir2000 [at] ic.org

For those unfamiliar, the Communities Directory is THE major reference
book for and about intentional communities in North America with over
thirty-two thousand copies in print.

Additional Reasons to list in the Directory include:
o Stand up and be counted -- let the world know that communities like
yours exist. (Wouldn't it be great if our culture better recognized
community living as a viable option?)
o Let forming groups be inspired by your example; if you're open to
helping new people get off to the right start it can save a lot on
   wheel inventing.
o Describe your community so that you can attract new members.
o Raise the community flag so that other communities can network with
you and exchange ideas and services.

Please spread the word.
