Lynn, When we had our house built last year (the first in Solterra) I was very concerned about the new requirement for low water usage toilets because the toilets with larger water usage were often not satisfactory for me. Our contractor was told to install pressure-assisted toilets even though they are noisy, more costly to buy and repair and probably less reliable. Due to poor communication between the contractor and plumber, low water usage toilets were installed. Rather than press for correction, I suggested that I try them. To my pleasant surprise, the toilets operated better than any others I have lived with. Don Weil Solterra Cohousing Community Durham, NC
