Lynn-

I am so very glad to hear you say these things.  I feel that it speaks to 
the very heart of what 'community' in the broadest sense of the word means.  
It is easy to lose sight of the essentials of what it means to live with 
other people and the real value in sharing your life with others:  you give 
and receive aid, share property, food, friendship- did I mention food?;)  
These are the great things you miss out on by not fitting yourself into a 
community of some sort... you're not missing some kind of 'fairyland world' 
where everything happens for you (from my understanding that world isn't out 
there!).  You're missing out on a connected life.
