I don't think that "housism" is age-related, but if it is, I would suggest 
that it gets worse as you get older.  My personal theory is that early life 
is reverse entropy, getting more and more organized and intricate.  This is 
balanced by an increase in local environmental entropy; that's why kids don't 
seem to put anything away!  As we get older and entropy starts creeping into 
our bodies, we start looking for that reverse entropy in our local 
environment.  Getting neater and cleaner, more obsessive about putting things 
away; staying in control where we can.  This is all relative, of course, to 
your own personal level of entropy control.  Just a thought.....
