Ann Zabaldo NEW ADDRESS: coho [at] world.std.com Takoma Village Cohousing is the author of the message below ( on Apr 6) but due to a problem (posted from address other than subscribed address), it was posted by Fred the Cohousing-L list manager: fholson [at] cohousing.org Note: Sorry for the delay in forwarding this message. It is a reply to a woman named March who should have gotten the cc back on the 6th (see copy of orig message at end). Fred To get off Cohousing-L, send email with UNSUBSCRIBE COHOUSING-L in the msg body to: listproc [at] cohousing.org Questions? email Fred - addr above -------------------- FORWARDED MESSAGE FOLLOWS -------------------- March -- there's nothing magical about having "cohousing" in your name on financial documents. For the city, the bank, the seller, etc. we were just another PUD, condo legal ownership, HOA, etc. Takoma Village. Period. Very mainstream. You can do all the work getting info on cohousing from reliable sources and still not get what you want from Fannie Mae. (BTW it's FannIE Mae.) There's this great old saying I like: sometimes its best to ride the horse in the direction it's going. I know it means a lot having "cohousing" as part of the name but you can have it in your marketing materials and you can add it to your name once your community is completed and your mortgages have been finalized. The important thing is to get your financing. Ann Zabaldo Takoma Village Cohousing Here at the center of the universe in Washington, DC.
