We used Trex at Marsh Commons in northern California and particularly like 
the fact that is not slippery in winter, a common problem with Redwood or 
Cedar.  Please note however, it is not a structural product. That means it 
works great for decking but you will still need to use pressure treated wood 
for joists and girders.
