Northern Vermont Cohousing is at an interesting point. Here's where =
we're
at:
- we have a signed agreement to purchase 46 acres in South
Burlington, VT;
- we have to close on our land at the end of July;
- we may be able to renegotiate the terms of our closing;
- the sellers will still need some money at the end of July =
because
they are purchasing land for themselves from the proceeds of this sale;
- our group is so young that people are hesitating to give real
financial support to our project and are relying on two families whose
resources are spent;
- our area has no other cohousing built yet and seems to be a
tinder-box for cohousing.
