Sonoma County CoHousing would like to invite you to some of the community's
upcoming events. We're under contract for a great 2.34 acre site in
downtown Cotati that is walking and biking distance to: Sonoma State
University and local schools, grocery shopping, restaurants, cafés and
local businesses, Golden Gate and Sonoma County Transit. With a
go-ahead from the City on the feasibility of our preliminary site plan,
we are about to embark on the design of our Common House and homes. There
is time for new members to join and participate in these design workshops

We are a diverse group of people who share an interest in creating an
environmentally conscious community that nurtures children, values
diversity, and emphasizes elegant simplicity. We hope you can come and get
to know us at one of the following events:

Level I Orientation (1 hr.): This is a basic introduction for cohousing
newcomers and other interested folk. After, you're invited to observe
our business meeting and/or join us for a potluck dinner - depending on
the date. Childcare provided.

Level II Orientation (1-1/2 hrs.): For those who have attended one of our
orientations already and would like more information about our project,
including structural and financial details. Notice on 9/24 and 10/15,
we've planned for those who want to attend Level I and II in one day.
After, you're invited to observe our business meeting and/or join us for
a potluck dinner - depending on the date. Childcare provided.

Business Meetings: Everyone who has attended a Level I Orientation is
welcome and encouraged to observe. Childcare provided.

Potluck Dinner: We hope that you will stay and break bread with us
after an Orientation or a Business Meeting - depending on the date.
Please bring a dish to share, as well as your own plate, cup, flatware,
and napkin.

Retreat: This is a week-end retreat that Full and Associate Members
have planned to get to know one another more thoroughly. We are
inviting new Associate Members to visit on Saturday, and join in lunch
(there will be a small charge) and our free activity time. There will
be a couple of people on hand to answer business questions; everyone
else will be there purely to have fun! This meeting will count toward
the 2-meeting requirement to become a Full Member.

Common House Planning: Full Members are invited to spend a week-end
with The CoHousing Company staff to plan our Common House.

House (Unit) Planning: Full Members are invited to spend this special
Saturday with The CoHousing Company staff to plan the unit types we have
chosen.
