Thanks, Stephan. Here's the deal. Ever since we went travelling in 1991, my husband and I have had a plan to go back to Nepal with our daughter to live for 6 months to a year and work in some way, probably volunteering with some non-govermental organization. I've just found out that HFH does projects in Nepal. I admire their work very much, and as my husband is a builder, this seems like a good fit. What I'm trying to find out from a non-HFH person is - just how Christian an organization is it? I'm happy that they are so motivated by their faith to do good work, but we are Jews with a kind of pagan-Buddhist overlay, and I'm pretty leery of putting ourselves into a situation where Christian theology is in our faces. I'm sure I can talk to HFH about it, but I thought I'd try to get a feel from someone who has worked with them, first. Thanks for any light you can shed.
