Cohousing-L Mailing List: Re: slogan purpose?

I echo Judy's comments, and I would like to know the purpose of the T-shirt
beyond the 2001 national conference in Berkeley.  Are these T-shirts only
intended for the purpose of the conference  (perhaps to indicate paid
admission to an event) or are they to serve some broader marking purpose
for cohousing after the conference is over?

I am in the "broader marking purpose" camp and would shy away from the use
of overly cutesy slogans like "Cohousers do it in the common house"
If TCN wants to market these T-shirts to cohousing groups nationwide after
the conference, they should put some thought into what kind of message
would be useful to these groups.

My preference would be for something along the lines of "Cohousing: Sharing
daily life with neighbors and friends, "Cohousing: a family of caring
neighbors"  "Cohousing: A New Old-fashioned Neighborhood"  "Cohousing
Caring Cooperative Community" or "Cohousing: Belong to a Community Where
You Live."
Save the cutesy songs and slogans for the talent show.
