Re: Value of Work/cooking

I've said pretty much all I have to say about the subject, but I'd like to
add one final thing.

It seems to me that alot of meaning has been loaded into the cooking thing,
from sexism to community. Honestly, it's just not that hard to cook for a
crowd once a month! The benefits far outweigh the "work". You don't have to
be an expert, it's an enormous time saver, and results in less work, not
more, for the participants. It's one of the main selling points of cohousing
to the uninitiated!

If I were facilitating a meeting, I would end it here, since everyone who
wants to be heard has been, and there doesn't seem to be a consensus in the
works. But I'm not, so, of course, everyone is free to opine.

Where my fridge is full of common meal leftovers and I've only cooked once
this week. Yum.
