RE: Conjugating the verb consense

For some reason, I really don't like using consensus as a verb, but it is
difficult to find an alternate way to express this concept. I usually say
"agree by consensus", and conjugate the verb agree, but do not conjugate
consensus if I can easily avoid doing that.

Subject: [C-L]_Conjugating the verb consense

I have done some research in this area. Here are valid answers provided with
tongue firmly entrenched in my cheek.

1. No entry found for consense in the dictionary.

2. Consensus is a noun.

3. con.sent intr.v. con.sent.ed, con.sent.ing, con.sents
To give assent, as to the proposal of another; agree.

4. Synonyms [Verbs] assent; give assent, yield assent, nod assent;
acquiesce; agree; receive, accept, accede, accord, concur, lend oneself to,
consent, coincide, reciprocate, go with; be at one with; go along with,
chime in with, strike in with, close in with; echo, enter into one's views,
agree in opinion; vote, give one's voice for; recognize; subscribe to,
conform to, defer to; say yes to, say ditto, amen to, say aye to.

acknowledge, own, admit, allow, avow, confess; concede (yield); come round
to; abide by; permit.

arrive at an understanding, come to an understanding, come to terms, come to
an agreement.

confirm, affirm; ratify, approve, endorse, countersign; corroborate.

go with the stream, swim with the stream; be in fashion, join in the chorus;
be in every mouth.

5. Suggested alternative: given unanimous consent

6. Faux conjugation:

   Past
First I consensed We consensed
Second You consensed You consensed
Third He consensed They consensed

   Present
First I consense We consense/we are in consensus
Second You consense You consense
Third He consenses They consense

   Future
First I shall consense We will
consense (if it takes us all night)
Second You consense w/me You consense
to my way of thinking
Third He will consense by the time I get through w/him They will
consense
