Cohousers,
We're ruminating about vacation plans, and we're fishing for
housing options. Anyone out there open to a housing trade
for up to 2 weeks this summer or fall? We'd love, love, love
to go to the west coast, but we're open to any other ideas
(it's a wild dream to go to Australia).

Here's the scoop on our accommodations:
River Rock Commons, Fort Collins, Colorado
2 bdrm, 1 1/2 bath townhouse

Details on Fort Collins:
-nestled against the foothills of the Rockies with magnificent
hiking trails within 1/2 hour drive (Estes Park is just an hour
away and Cameron Pass, which has less travelled hiking trails,
is also just an hour away) (rafting along the river, too, if
you hit the right season)
-several miles of bike trails, many along the Poudre River (great
swimming!), literally at our back door
-vibrant old town district within walking distance with outdoor
concerts, quaint shops, and great restaurants

Details on RR Cohousing:
-new community with lots of friendly folk (34 households)
-Common House with meals a few times each week
-boarders a 50-acre park with tennis and basketball courts, playground
farm run by the local park service (complete with pony rides), bike trails,
and river (tubing opportunity)
-within walking distance of shops, restaurants, theatre

Details on our house:
-main floor has kitchen, dining, living room (fold down futon couch),
half bath with a deck that faces the park and has a lovely view of
the mountains
-upper floor has bedroom with king size bed and crib plus second
bedroom with queen size bed; full bath
-unfinished basement has fold-down futon

Thanks,
Margaret Graham
